First-Ever Global Entrepreneurship Week Being Planned for Young Entrepreneurs

The next generation of entrepreneurs from around the world will have the opportunity to connect through local, national and global activities during Global Entrepreneurship Week November 17-23, 2008.
This debut event is an expansion of two successful prior events – Entrepreneurship USA in 2007 and Enterprise Week in the UK, which began in 2004. All week, online and face-face activities are designed to inspire young people to explore their entrepreneurial potential and share it with others around the world.
The Beyster Institute is working with students from the Entrepreneurship Club at UC San Diego's Rady School of Management to plan a local “Festival of Entrepreneurship.” The event will feature entrepreneurship support organizations, entrepreneurial companies and guest speakers. An update on planned activities will be published in the fall.
